How I got started: For those of you who have read Josh's thingy on how he got started, I am that friend.  My other friends dad (I only have 2 friends)(jk) is a great guitar player, and I decided I wanted to learn how to play, so I asked him if he would start me off,  and he was a great teacher. Then these bums asked me if I'd play bass for them, then I was like, fine ... worst decision of my life.
